بدايتي مع نطاقات الاي دي ان كانت في 2004 عندما اشتريت

من موقع ايباي بتقريبا 350 دولار ولم يكن استثمار جيد
وبالتأكيد لا اعتبره جيدا حتي الان وبعد هذا الخطأ قررت التركيز علي الدنجباتس او
الاشكال والرموز لانها كانت بسيطة وسهلة الفهم واعتقدت ان مستخدمي الكمبيوتر
يستطيعون ادخال النطاق باستخدام ازرار الارقام وزر الالت وانتهيت بتسجيل حوالي ثلث
ال35 رمز وكنت لازلت انظر للسوق من بعد واحد واربط كل شيء باللغة الانجليزية لكن
الدنيا تغيرت والان انظر لتلك العشرين او اكثر رمز امتلكه كتحفة فنية او شيء من
الفلوكلور لكني لا زلت احب رمز الوجه الضاحك
انا حتي الان املك 250 الي 300 نطاق اكثر من مائة منهم نطاق عربي وقد خرجت ودخلت من
السوق عدة مرات منذ 2004 ملتقطا عدد من النطاقات الجيدة في الطريق
ونتائج البحث في اوفريشور لنطاقاتي مجتمعة اكثر من نصف مليون واعلي نطاق من حيث
نتائج البحث هو

اهتمامي بالنطاقات العربية قد تضاعف السبب الاول نتيجة الكمية الهائلة من
المتحدثين بالعربية والسبب الثاني انه ليس هناك امتداد واحد لكل المتحدثين بالعربية
مثل اللغة الروسية والبولندية وده بالطبع مجرد رأي شخصي
مثاليا اتمني تطوير بعض نطاقاتي العربية ودائما ما ابحث عن افكار وشراكات ويستطيع
اي من القراء مراسلتي علي الايميل باي مقترحات او افكار
اخيرا نصيحتي للداخلين الجدد ان يتعلموا الاساسيات التي سيجدوها في المنتديات سواء
اي دي ان فورم او غيره لكنها خطوة ضرورية بعدها استكشف الانترنت بنفسك وتأكد ان
احلي الاسماء ستجدها بعدما تجد الادوات التي لم يكتشفها الاخرين او لم يتعرفوا
عليها بالكامل وهو سوق ليس سهلا فلا اعتقد انك تستطيع تسجيل الكثير بنجاح ايضا لا
تخشي السوق الثانوي والنطاقات التي تدفع فيها مئات الان سوف تساوي الالاف علي الاقل
في المستقبل القريب

Pennsylvania, USA. Off to the University of Oxford to get my MBA this fall.
My initial exposure to idns occurred in 2004 when I purchased ỹ.com off of Ebay
for approximately $350. This was not a good investment then and I most certainly
do not consider it a good investment now. You live and learn. After this mistake
I decided to concentrate on dingbats. Why? Simple. They are easy to understand
(I was lazy) and I figured out that pc users could enter the domains using the
num pad and the alt key.
I ended up registering 1/3 of the first 35
(chronologically) alt entry dingbats. I was still looking at the market one
dimensionally and relating everything back to the English language. Times surely
have changed. Now I look at the 20 or so dingbats I own as novelty domains (yet
I still like my black smiley).
I now own somewhere between 250-300 idns, a little over 100 of them Arabic. I
have left and returned to the game several times since 2004 picking up some
goodies along the way.
The US Overture scores of my Arabic domains currently add up to around 500,000.
And at the top of this list is:

My interest in Arabic idns has been twofold. First, and primarily, the large
amount of Arabic speakers and second the fact that there is not a truly dominate
cctld for the language. (such as Russia .ru, Poland .pl and Hungary .hu.) This,
of course, is entirely my opinion.
Ideally, I hope to develop some of my Arabic idns and I am always looking for
ideas and/or partnerships. Please feel free to e-mail me any thoughts,
suggestions, ideas, etc.
My advice to newcomers is to learn the basics…whether that is at idnforums.com
or elsewhere it is a necessary step. After that explore the Internet for
yourself, your best finds will come from locating tools that others have yet to
find or tools that others have not fully explored. It is a bullish market out
there so I don’t think that you can be excessive with your registrations.
Last, don’t fear the secondary market. Idns that you are paying hundreds for now
will be worth thousands (at least) in the relatively near future.
